Pencil Led Design Ltd is a UK based footwear-focused design consultancy led by Warren Malkin and Zoë Hillyard. We have a client base of well-established international footwear brands including; Merrell, Caterpillar, Chaco and Hush Puppies.

Warren has over twelve years design experience in the footwear industry and Zoë is a design lecturer and textile artist.

We offer a fully realised and bespoke service; from initial trend research and forecasting, including storyboarding, range planning and creative direction, through to design concepts, technical packages and prototype development.

From pencil to pixel, working through a combination of digital and hand-rendering, we create illustrative footwear concepts with clear design detail direction.

We work closely with clients, tailoring our service to your particular project needs, be it a multi-product collection or a one-off project.
